Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

SAD/JSR is committed to applying scientific publication ethics at international standards.

The articles that will be submitted to SAD/JSR should not be published anywhere before or should not be in the process of being evaluated for publication in another journal.

SAD/JSR adopts the publication ethics standards set by international standards. In this context, in cases of misconduct or violation of publication ethics, the process is evaluated according to the publication ethics flowchart.

SAD/JSR is a journal that has adopted double-blind peer review process and guarantees the anonymity of the authors and reviewers in this process.

SAD/JSR is responsible for the confidentiality of author(s) information. However, this information may be shared with relevant persons, boards and/or institutions in a possible investigation in order to evaluate and investigate possible misconducts, complaints and conflicts of interest. SAD/JSR defines its principles regarding possible misconducts, complaints and conflicts of interest and shares it on its website.

The use of any parts of the text in more than one publication by the author(s) is against SAD/JSR's publication principles, if it is not clearly stated. When such a situation is detected, the processes regarding the violation of publication ethics determined by international standards are implemented.

SAD/JSR supports and defends authors' freedom of scientific expression. SAD/JSR has the right to reject all kinds of articles with racist, sexist and discriminatory discourse and content without including them in the evaluation process.

In the case of conflict of interest, SAD/JSR fulfills the requirements of scientific ethical principles in an impartial and objective manner. The process is managed within the framework of determined intellectual and ethical standards and in line with the ethical principles that the authors, reviewers, editors and relevant committees of the journal are obliged to consider. SAD/JSR reserve the right to request the necessary permissions from the author(s) for Ethics Committee Approval, Survey/Interview Consent Forms and materials (tables, images, maps, etc.) that may cause copyright problems and the evaluation process of the article is suspended until the uncertainty about the conflict of interest is over.

SAD/JSR feels responsible for publishing contents such as corrections, explanations, apologies, and refutations and acts responsibly towards such matters.

SAD/JSR editors, editorial board and scientific board are responsible for following legal advice in cases of the existence of repetitions in an article and/or overlaps with other articles that violate intellectual property rights.

SAD/JSR clearly states the obligations of the publisher, editors, editorial board, reviewers and authors against misconduct, conflict of interest and complaints before, during and after publication, in line with international standardized guidelines regarding "possible misconduct" situations.

In the cases where the manuscript submitted to SAD/JSR is also submitted to different journals, SAD/JSR immediately assembles its relevant committees (SAD/JSR Editors, Science and Advisory Board, Editorial Board) to compare different versions of the same studies submitted to different journals. Relevant committee requests evaluation and explanation regarding the manuscript in question are from the authors and investigators. The related boards of the SAD/JSR carry the objectives of cooperating with higher boards (a consultation group, comprised of three assigned people) for investigation regarding the work in question and its owner(s), and providing such as acting in concert with the practices regarding these boards, investigators, authors and their institutions.

SAD/JSR is based on confidentiality throughout all the scientific publishing process. In this respect, it shares the information about the authors and reviewers with the relevant persons, boards and/or institutions only when necessary, in order to prevent possible/suspected misconduct regarding the manuscript, to take necessary action and to fulfill its obligation to respond to these allegations and suspicions.

SAD/JSR Editors and Editorial Board conduct the first investigation within its own body before sharing information with relevant persons, boards and/or institutions in case of possible misconduct allegations and suspicious situations. SAD/JSR shares information with the relevant persons, boards and/or institutions only when there is no explanation and/or response from the author, if the author's explanation and/or response is insufficient, or when the Journal reaches the conviction that it is thought more than one journal will be affected by the possible misconduct.

If it is necessary, the information in question is shared only with the editor(s) who can be informed about the subject, and this information shared will only be factual content.

SAD/JSR Journal Editors, Editorial Board and Scientific Board guarantee to protect information and communication confidentiality to the greatest extent possible.
